Reach For The Skies With Ben Huckerby Design
January 10th, 2011Adam Price Joins BHD As a University Intern
January 10th, 2011Adam joined the team as part of a new student mentoring scheme offered at Ben Huckerby Design.
Extending his Architectural Venue Design degree at the University of Derby to include a placement year, Adam was keen to get some real industry experience.
Adam is very driven and determined to pursue his aspirations in the design industry. He has approached the scheme with enthusiasm, passion and innovative ideas.
As well as learning new skills and developing his own personal style and techniques, Adam relishes in the opportunity to feed into client briefs and brings a fresh approach to assist across a range of projects.
“I have to admit I wasn’t holding out much hope when I knocked on the office door of Ben Huckerby, clinging to my portfolio, and was amazed when he asked me to come back to discuss arranging an internship and how we could make it beneficial to both of us.
“From day one he has welcomed me into the team and I am learning so much every day. It’s the perfect opportunity to put to use my design skills and knowledge from university, and gain insight into the role of a designer and how they work.
“To be working with Ben and be part of his talented team is a dream start to my future career and I would thoroughly recommend an internship to other students and urge them not to give up.”

Terry and Michael wanted to keep the traditional features in the property but add a Moroccan twist to fit into the idyllic setting boasting stunning sea views and make better use of the space.
