Celebrity Interior Designer struts his stuff on the catwalk for Leeds charity
Yorkshire born Interior Designer to the stars – Ben Huckerby – took to the catwalk in Next Top Model, Leeds in aid of Leeds Jewish Welfare Board. The celebrity event, which raised over £30,000 in crucial funds, was held at The Warehouse Club and included faces from Dancing on Ice, Harry Potter, Secret Millionaire and the world of football – to name but a few.
Ben, who was honoured to be asked to take part, showed his support by not only taking to the stage wearing a 3 piece dinner suit by Skopes Menswear, however, he also helped the team coordinate all the backstage organisation and designed and created the amazing table centre pieces.
The event was the brainchild of four Leeds business women, Amanda Port, Gaynor Sorkin, Danielle Buck and Belinda Richmond who picked 24 year old Jonny Laider and 22 year old Anisha Hamilton-Sutton as their Next Top Model, Leeds winners.
Ben, Managing Director of Ben Huckerby Design and the Designer behind Britain’s Best Home stated, “It was amazing to be part of such a fantastic event. It was for a great cause and together everyone raised substantial funds. Well done to the worthy winners.”
